Kadokawa have revealed that Hajime Segawa’s Tokyo ESP Manga will be adapted into an Anime series that will debut this summer(around June onward). Hajime Segawa’s Manga began on the 27th of February 2010 in Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine. Kadokawa haven’t revealed much but we should see more in upcoming issues of their Shōnen Ace magazine. The Manga has produced 8 volumes worth of content to date with the 9th expected to release soon.
Tokyo ESP follows Urushiba Rinka, your normal high school girl, who works as a waitress to help her father. One day she see’s a penguin and fishes swimming in the sky, at first she thinks it’s a hallucination but when she notices that others also see the spectacle she realizes it’s real. She passes out after seeing a boy contact the fish and when she awakens she gains the ability to move through objects. She then meets Kyotaro Azuma, a boy who can teleport. Why do they have these abilities? What will they do with them?
